Rosie (fka Posie)

It has officially been one week since we adopted Rosie (fka Posie) and I just wanted to provide you with an update.

Rosie (fka Posie)

The long car ride back to Oregon was a little worrisome for her at first. She barked for the first hour but then settled quickly in our laps for the rest of the 8-hour drive.

Rosie has integrated seamlessly in our household, which includes our house cat and foster kittens. She has gotten along with everyone she meets and she is a menace for food! It’s adorable hearing her grunts and growls when she wants my husband to share his food with her.

We have taken her to our vet already and she may have been a little cranky for the pokes, but treats definitely warmed her back up.

Rosie definitely has her own robust personality which we see more of everyday. She’s hardly had any bathroom accidents and when Rosie does not want to do something, she WILL RUN. I never thought this little 16-year old dog could have more than one speed but she has run around in our backyard dodging the rain before coming back inside. She will run for food if she sees it.

Rosie is such a character and she has brought so much joy to our lives. Thank you to Muttville for providing a safe place for her and allowing us to provide her with a home for her golden years!

Kind regards,
Rebecca Sanford
