Just thought I’d bring you up to date on Abu (fka MySpace). Thanksgiving day will be our 3-week anniversary. He and I truly fit together like a glove. May sound trite, but he is a VERY good boy!
His neuter surgery healed just fine. He got his bath right after the cone came off. Our groomer loved him (naturally!). Both our vets agreed with your vet and he is on Pimobendan for his heart. We’ve just started teeth brushing as we had to wait until his oral surgery was healed. He loves it…again naturally.
He has moved into my house completely, and has numerous resting places. We take 4 walks a day of varying length and he’s comfortable to either be on a ‘sniff’ walk or with a shorter lead on a walk at my side. Did I mention that he’s a VERY good boy? (He took to the dog door immediately, but loves his walks.)
I cannot thank you and all the volunteers and staff at Muttville enough. You had him ready for me just when I really needed a friend. All of my friends now know about your work and hopefully some of them will be future homes for your special rescue pooches.
