We LOVE Amelia (fka Esperanza)! We adopted her five days ago, and she is stuck with us, hehe, a permanent member of our family. We re-named her Amelia (Ears-Heart), Mimi for short.
We are so thrilled to have her with us. She and Pixie and Olive get along just fine. Mimi’s great on walks around the block with us and has surprised me a couple times copying Pixie, hopping up the steps into our building. She’s so small! I wouldn’t have guessed she could do the steps. Not always, but wow!
She’s good on car rides, good meeting other dogs. Mostly calm except when she knows I’m prepping her food… and then, she barks excitedly. The cutest barks! She gets her food when she stops the barking. She’s doing good on short increments of time-alone training so far (I think it helps that Pixie’s with her).
Amelia “Mimi” is just lovely, and we love her so much!
