I remember how long Floyd (fka Floyd Pepper) waited at Muttville to find a home. I’m writing to say thank you to everyone at Muttville for not giving up on Floyd. Although he was blind, that’s not a fair way to describe him because he certainly didn’t let that diminish himself. At Muttville, they said he was afraid of stairs, but after a few days in our home he had them all figured out. His anxiety after being abandoned decreased as the weeks and months went by.
Kevin and I adopted Floyd on July 7, 2022 and he died last Monday, May 22, 2023. Floyd was incredibly happy during his last year. We made sure there wasn’t a single day he didn’t feel loved and wanted. Not a single day. Muttville took him in despite his heart murmur and blindness. And then you let us adopt him, and Kevin and I are so glad you did. Floyd made us feel loved and wanted every day, too! Thank you, Muttville. We have so many happy memories and so did Floyd.
