It’s only been 2 weeks since we brought him to his forever home, but he has fit right in with the family. Boomer is one of the mellowest and sweetest dogs we’ve encountered and we still can’t believe he was ever a stray or abandoned!
It only took a day for him to blossom and show us his spunky puppy energy, I strongly believe his Muttville sister, Eloise, helped a lot with that while watching her play fetch with me. We learned that he actually DOES like to play with toys, specifically squeaky tennis balls. I can absolutely tell he was loved before with how excited he gets with playing fetch.
He loves to lounge in the sun, bury himself in the couch pillows, roll around in the grass, and go on walks with his non-stop wagging tail. You wouldn’t know it with his stoic expression, but he loves being around people and is such a social butterfly. He loves to be the center of attention with tummy rubs and will remind you to keep petting his head with the gentlest nudge when you stop.
We can’t thank Muttville enough for all their hard work to get these pups into their forever homes during these weird, uncertain times. We’re so happy to have this happy boy part of our little family!
