Update on Bean Bean, she’s completely settled in now, and this momma is obsessed. When we first brought her home we were told that she needs to lose a lot of weight due to her being overweight, so daily walks were necessary. She weighed in at 12.65 pounds and now she’s down to 6.8 pounds. My boyfriend and I think her ideal weight is supposed to be 3 – 4 pounds. We cannot believe that poor thing was double the weight. With her being overweight the first week we had her she tore her ACL. We immediately put Bean Bean on a pre-made raw diet that’s full and complete balanced diet and we can now see that she’s thriving off of it. She’s loosing the weight and walking amazingly on her torn ACL. Her mobility is so much more than we first brought her home, you can’t even tell she has a torn ACL.
For the last 6 months of having Bean we’ve seen her sassy personality come out completely! If I’m not paying attention to get it is by making chirping/whining (loud) noises which soon becomes demanding barks! How adorable is that!
We love love love this little girl and we cannot thank Muttville enough for all of their amazing efforts to find furever homes for these kiddos. We are so blessed to have Bean in our lives!
