Hi, Marble here to tell you my success story.
I met my mom, Courtney, on March 25, 2017 at Muttville headquarters, and it was love at first sight. She had seen me on the website, and I was the first one to greet her at the entrance of the adoption fair. After a walk around the block, she was so impressed with the pep in my step that she took me home to Berkeley that very day.
I have colitis, so it took a little while to figure out what was best for my tummy, but once I started a fish-based diet with pumpkin and supplements, I gained a couple pounds and a soft coat. I look so good now that some people mistake me for a puppy, even though I’m 13 years old!
I like to ride shotgun in my mom’s Smart car, sun my belly, sit on laps, and have adventures. My mom and I do a lot of activities together, including hiking in Tilden Park, taking weekend trips to Sonoma and Mendocino counties, and dressing up for Halloween. Last year we were Prince vs. Michael (Jackson). LOL!
I even hold a part-time job at mom’s workplace in San Francisco and get to commute on BART once a week for “Marble Mondays.” My first day was so nerve-wracking that I peed in front of the CEO, but I’ve since become an essential member of the team, boosting morale by dressing up on holidays and providing cuddles to all.
Thank you, Muttville, for helping me find a great home where I can enjoy my golden years. I’m PAWsitively grateful!
