I’m so sad to let you know that my beautiful Nutmeg went over the rainbow bridge on November 13, 2018. I miss her so much. She was my little side kick and went everywhere with me. She came to work with me everyday and delighted my clients!
I adopted her in January 2013 at 9 yrs old and for 6 years she gave me companionship and unconditional love through some very hard times. She watched me through dealing with my daughters addiction and was a soft heart for her when my daughter suffered so much. She was there for me and grace for my heart when my daughter died 6/26/17. You know they feel your pain and I was so grateful for her love at that time.
I called her my little toothless wonder as she had already lost all her teeth before my adoption…she became deaf a few years later and her collapsing trachea was advancing. She was good with her medication tho and she loved to eat! She adapted to our moves and her first Winter in Colorado in December 2016. Our stroller walks to work was such a joy. She was getting tired tho at 13 years old! She was a trooper when health issues were getting harder. When the time came she let me know…she was a few months shy of 15 yrs old! My heart is broken and I miss the morning wake ups and the begging and the sweet stares that Pomeranians are so good at. I look forward to another Pomeranian rescuing me in the near future.
