Dear Muttville:
On November 2nd of 2018, I met Piccolo when I was looking for an older dog. My dear little 17 year old dog had died several months ago and I was lonesome for her company. As soon as I met Piccolo I loved her. She has helped me to recover from my loss, and made my days happy. I thought her name was strange and didn’t fit her, and wondered how she got it. My daughter read the complete medical history given to me by Muttville, and discovered her real name was Dottie. First time I called her that she perked up and came to me. Bless her heart she finally knew she was home. She discovered my old dog’s basket of toys right away and loves to play with them. She loves her daily walks, and gets to know neighbor’s dogs. This is good since as a very old lady I need to get out and walk daily. I didn’t know if she had been house broken, and placed “pee pads” on the bathroom floor and some other places. I found it funny that she always chose to go to the bathroom to “do her duty” as if she knew that was the proper place to go. Thank you, Muttville for giving these older and sometimes homeless dogs another happy life.
