Even when they are not with us long, our pets give us a lifetime of memories. Flo shared her sweet story about George soon after he crossed the rainbow bridge. Our hearts go out to George’s loving family:
George was a very loving gentleman. He got on so well with our other furbies and seemed as if he lived with us for so long since he knew our house the first night we brought him home. He loves going to Fort Funston and getting his panda like paws wet.
He was the sweetest baby that we lost so soon. We adopted him last year during the Be Mine Valentine and we lost him in Dec 21.
He always gets excited when we got home and even more excited when he sees his food bowl. We always laughed as that is the only time George ever ran. When we go on long walks or even to the beaches we always had him in his yellow stroller. He was actually known at Fort Funston maybe because how bright his stroller was..haha..or the fact that I had him on my back being carried back up the sand dunes. It was a tough climb on sand, but he enjoyed it and that was all it mattered.
We miss him dearly and Sophia our 8 yr old boxer senses he is no longer with us. But, without Georgie, we wouldn’t have been able to foster another gorgeous baby from Muttville name Prince until he found his furever home not long ago.
Thank you again for wanting to share his story. He was very loved by us and his many fur siblings.
Flo
