Hello!
I wanted to give a happy update on Honey (fka Ultra). We adopted Honey in September 2025 after seeing her on Muttville’s Facebook page. When I first saw her I had to do a double take because she’s our other dog, Randall’s twin!
She had a bit of a rocky beginning; we suspected Honey had a hard life before she got to Muttville and she needed extra time to decompress and truly trust her new family. We gave her lots of love, cuddles, space when she needed it, and eventually her true personality shined through!!
Honey has come out of her shell and is truly the best dog we could’ve asked to adopt! She loves her fur-siblings, and is going to have a human sibling come December of this year.
I wanted to share Honey’s story to emphasize the importance of having patience when adopting a dog, especially a rescue dog. It can take them a while to decompress and feel comfy in their new home, so don’t give up on them!!
We are so thankful for Muttville and all that they do! Honey is as well!
