We adopted Lucy (fka Pleats) on February 22, 2025.
She was just finishing up medication for her spay and dental surgery and was doing great. In May, I took her to our vet for an influenza shot. The vet felt something unusual and asked if she could do an x-ray. The next morning, Lucy was having surgery. It was cancer, but I am happy to say it was all contained and she is doing wonderfully now.
She loves beds and blankets so they are all over the house. And she loves laying in the sun. She loves her walks around the neighborhood. At 7 lbs she can do a 1 mile walk with no problem. She has brought happiness and sunshine into my life.
