Hello Muttville!
Ginger (fka Rhonda, tan and white) and Mary Ann (fka Muriel, brown and white) joined us a little over a year ago and we wanted to provide an update.

We adopted them as a bonded pair and later found out through genetic testing that Ginger is Mary Ann’s daughter. They are best friends and we are so glad Muttville was able to keep them together.
We were expecting two older dogs who would tolerate shorter walks in the neighborhood but otherwise prefer lazing about at home. While they certainly enjoy a snooze and their daily short jaunts, it turns out they also love exploring and adventuring with us!
If they realize that neither of us is going to work, which is the sign of a weekend, they start dancing around and Ginger will howl in anticipation of a car nap and new fun walk. Their tails wag the whole time we get their harnesses on. They also love following us around the house, pets, treats, and switching up their many napping locations, usually a sunny spot by a window or in the yard.
Thank you Muttville-with extra thanks to Ginger and Mary Ann’s incredible foster-for taking care of these wonderful dogs and for connecting us with them. We’re so grateful to have their little family as part of our family and could not love them more.
Sincerely,
Kate Therkelsen and Jon Blackman
