Hello Muttville!
I adopted Ruby (fka Rikki) in July and I just wanted to send along an update. She is doing amazing! Coming out of her shell, meeting lots of dogs, playing with her toys… I’m a dog walker, and she comes to work with me almost every day and hangs out with dogs and meets people too (she absolutely loves meeting new people).
She has made fast friends with my best friend Rebecca, and her tail nubbin starts wagging like crazy when she sees her. Ruby has also gotten to explore the beach, where she likes to do lots of zoomies and sniff all the beach smells.
Ruby is getting along great with her big greyhound sister Jane, even though sometimes Ruby takes over Jane’s big dog bed and Jane has to sleep on the carpet.
Thank you all for the amazing work you do. I feel so blessed to have Ruby in my life- she’s everything I was dreaming of when I thought about getting another dog. My heart is so full of love for her and she makes me so happy.
