Tuesday, September 24 was my second anniversary with the perfect and amazing Charming (fka Neon). Thank you so much, Muttville, for bringing us together. He may be almost blind and deaf but he’s still sharp as ever.
This year, Charming and I got a huge surprise. An older gentleman who came into my work weekly passed away and his family told me that he told them to give his dog to a waiter (me!) at Maggiano’s Little Italy in San Jose, because he loves senior dogs. Truthfully, I didn’t want a second dog because Charming isn’t a fan of other dogs and I had every intention to contact Muttville and tell you that Ginger’s owner passed away.
Three days later we met at Santana Row, and I saw her for the first time. And it all made sense why he wanted me to take care of his beloved dog. Ginger went straight up to Charming and started licking his face; he just laid down and let her do it.
So now I have two amazing dogs, one from Muttville and one because I talked about Muttville. You do so much great work, I just thought you would like to hear about the new beginnings you’ve made happen!
Cheers,
Steven, Charming, and Ginger
