Bubble Gum is now Delphox or Foxy for short. When she first came home, she reminded us of a fennec fox, so we jokingly started to call her foxy lady and it just sort of stuck.
She started off distant and timid. I’m not too sure what kind of life she lived before she was rescued, because being touched and picked up scared her for a while. She’s still not snuggly, which seems to just be her nature, but she loves butt scratches which give her zoomies, and she does little tappy dances when she wants whatever you’re making for dinner. She also does this super adorable “awoo” howl when you don’t give her food fast enough and then pokes your leg with her paw.
There’s a lot of silliness in this tiny little package of fur, but she’s also incredibly sweet and gentle. I haven’t owned another dog that’s as gentle and passive as her, and am so happy I decided to add her to my pack. She’s perfect!
