The day we saw the rescue photo of Pops in the Pilots and Paws plane, we fell head over heels in love. The look on his face looking out the plane’s window was one of wonder—wonder to still be alive and wonder as to what was next for him.
Luckily for us, he was still available when we contacted Muttville and we scooped him right up! We adopted him on May 25, 2015. This photo was taken about a year later. He loved to pose for photos and we have hundreds of them. He was a shining light in our lives and such a funny guy who made everyone smile. He had many fans!
After a wonderful 6 1/2 years with him, he left us on November 1, 2021 at 16 years old. It’s been a rough several months without him, but we are lucky that we have four other dogs to take away the enormous hole he left. We will always miss Pops every single day. I am so glad he came into our lives. Ahhh, tears coming through… :-(
