Dear Muttville,
Cardigan came to me as a foster, but he was just too special to let go. Within two weeks of meeting him, I just knew I had to keep him forever. It has now been two and a half years with Cardigan, and I’m loving every second with him. He’s been through so many milestones with me: graduating college, new jobs, and even moving to Los Angeles!
And Cardigan has made incredible progress as well! I remember the day I took him home as a foster. I sat on the ground with him for nearly an hour because he was so scared he wouldn’t even approach me. He was terrified of strangers and even more so of men. He also had to get all but 2 teeth pulled due to dental disease the day after I adopted him (resulting in his ultra-adorable tongue-out look), and Muttville was amazing enough to cover that surgery for us!
Since then, he has blossomed into the adorable, hilarious dog he is today. He LOVES going on car rides, so he rides with me pretty much everywhere. He sleeps on my pillow right above my head every single night. He is also best friends with my boyfriend (huge progress in socializing with men!). He has such a huge, sassy personality packed into a tiny little body. Two years has flown by and I hope to spend many more amazing years with my little guy.
