Marge

A loving note from Margo’s family

It is with a heavy heart that I’m writing to let you know we had to say goodbye to our sweet Marge (Margo) today. She came home with us on June 29th, 2019, after spending a blissful few months with her first foster mom Kirstin, and family. She stayed with us for 51 weeks! We never expected our house to be blessed with her for such an extended stay. We loved every minute of her presence here, and her leaving has left a giant hole. She fit perfectly into our little family. We’ll miss her so much, and cherish her memory.

Marge was in a good, peaceful place right up until the end. She had been feeling a little under the weather the last couple of weeks due to her heart meds getting the better of her kidneys. But that didn’t stop her from getting lots of snuggles, plenty of sun-bathing on the deck, and even a trip to the beach last week. Her respiration rate increased today, so we took her to the vet where she passed peacefully in our arms.

Thanks to all the folks at Muttville for bringing Margo into your program, and for all the care you gave her. And thanks to Kristin for being such a loving foster mom. I hope you enjoy these pics of Marge living her best life with her brother and sister.

Original profile

Margo is a cutie pie, and she’s as sweet as pie too!

She is a delightful, gentle girl who is easy to fall in love with. Margo has so many adorable mannerisms, she is just cuteness overload. She would love to be a faithful companion to someone who could use some sweetness in their lives.

Margo tells us she would enjoy quality couch potato time binging on the latest Netflix release, as well as going for walks around the neighborhood. Most of all she would love to have someone to snuggle up with! If you think your life isn’t complete without a charming little fox-chi hybrid, fill out an application for Margo asap!

Margo is estimated to be 12 years young and weighs 8 lbs.

Here’s what Margo’s foster has to say:

Margo is a very sweet dog. She took a little while to warm up but once she started to feel comfortable it was rewarding to see her get her wag on. She loves to just be with you and will be your little shadow. She’s happy to sit with anyone, grown ups and kids. She is a very quiet dog (except at night when she snores, but it’s a very cute snore ;) and doesn’t bother me at all). She eats well and sleeps through the night.

She enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood. She’ll walk at normal waking pace but she’ll put the brakes on if she’s not feeling it – usually when it’s raining! Otherwise, we can take regular 20 + minute walks with a lot of sniffing breaks.

Margo loves chicken. She is the perfect excuse for a lazy afternoon catching up on your favorite show or getting stuck into a good book because she just wants to sit with you. As soon as she see you getting up to do something
she’ll be straight up too, following you, which makes me feel guilty having disturbed her nap :) She’s taught me to slow down and just sit back once in a while, while she’ll happily snuggle up alongside you.

Maaaaaaargoooooooo!!!! I actually want to just squeeze this perfect little munchkin alllll the time. She is so quiet you won’t even know she’s there, but once you get to know her you will see adorable sides of her personality.
1. Just like me, she loves eating.
2. Just like me, she loves napping.
3. Just like me, she enjoys hanging out with the gang but isn’t going to be the loud mouth in the middle of everything causing a ruckus.
4. Just like me, she just wants to be loved.

If you are looking for a hilarious, woddly little scruffy brown angel to join your home, then this is your girl!!
Love
Kristin
