Hello Muttville family!
We are recently retired and new residents of the East Bay. We rescued Hannah from Muttville in early July. In 6 weeks, she has become the love of our lives!!
She is friendly & kind to people & dogs alike. She is a calming influence and stays by our side. During a family visit, we had as many as 5 dogs here for the weekend & all did great!! Her coat is shiny and her tail hair is growing in nicely! (Tail was partially shaved when we got her.) She needs some dental work, but the vet wants to wait for a couple months until she is more settled and to give her a break. Her best friend is a male terrier that lives across the street. We watched him for a week while the owners were on vacation & he and Hannah became besties!!
Also working on toys….she loves balls but doesn’t like to share with other dogs….she wants ALL the balls!! She seems to think stuffed toys were made for shredding, but that’s improving! (Although she really doesn’t want to share those!)
We have a large yard – Hannah is convinced that one of these days she will be successful in catching a squirrel!! Although she did chase a raccoon until it went up on the neighbors roof!
Hannah loves to go in the car! We take her as many places as we can – the brewery, restaurants, shopping, etc. She’s so well behaved & everybody loves her! We took her to Buchanan dog beach in the bay & oh my she had fun!! She rolled in the sand, played with all the dogs, stole some balls (of course), and jumped right in the ocean!!
We rescued a doggie named Hannah.
She was wearing a yellow bandana.
Her style was freewheeling
She was so darned appealing
That her new name is HANNAH BANANA!
So, thank you for our wonderful Hannah!! She’s having a wonderful life and we are enjoying her soooo much!!
Thanks again, Muttville!!
