Where to begin? I fell in love with Hippo in early February of this year when I first saw his sweet face via Facebook and thought he looked similar to our current chihuahua. Once we went to Muttville and met him we knew we had to have him. Did we reeeeally need a third dog? We didn’t think we did but it felt right and we knew he needed us. We prayed he’d be a good fit with our other two. Boy did we luck out. He fit in immediately, learned the doggy ramps and doggy door and figured out that we really liked it when he went potty outside within a few days. He’s the best thing we ever did and love him to the moon and back.
His brother Little and dachshund sister Reedy adore him too and it feels like he’s been with us forever. He’s now living his best life but we are too thanks to him. We may have rescued Hippo but he rescued us as well.
