Hi Muttville
I’m very sad to let you know that Gulliver (formerly Duffy) passed away last night after a valiant fight against kidney failure.
When I walked into Muttville in January 2018, Gulliver and I made an immediate connection. I asked him “Do you want to come live with me?” and he responded by touching his nose to my hand. I took that as a yes and from that moment on, both of our lives were indelibly changed for the better.
Despite his tough path in life, he radiated love and hope. He gave kisses, wagged his tail, and trotted through adventures. He was resilient, cheerful, and sweet. He loved trekking through the San Francisco hills, canvassing for treats, and sprawling out while he napped. He had the softest and most animated ears.
Gulliver will be missed immeasurably by his family and friends. Thank you, Muttville, for bringing us together. A few pictures attached of happy memories.
