Ralph

Hello: I adopted Ralph from Muttville in February 2017. He was completely blind from cataracts but learned to navigate the house well and still enjoyed his walks, toys, and two cat brothers. Although I was a bit hesitant to adopt a completely blind companion, it turned out just fine and wasn’t much different than having a pal that could see.

Although Ralphie seemed to be enjoying his new life and was such a joy, it was determined that Ralph was an excellent candidate for cataract removal surgery. A special eye surgeon in Rocklin performed the surgery in February 2018. After surgery, Ralph was able to see his mom for the very first time.

He is now an even happier, healthier, more active and still sweet boy. He has been such a blessing and I can’t imagine life before him.

Thanks for all you do at Muttville and special thanks to Ralph’s foster who drove to my home in Sacramento from Vallejo for us to meet.
