Where do I even start with little Miss Elle (aka Pom Pom #4016)? I adopted her from Muttville in September of 2016 and my life has forever been better! She is the light of my life and I’m so thankful to you guys for saving her and giving me the opportunity to rescue my best friend.
Elle makes everyone smile everywhere she goes! We go on daily walks (that she demands by spinning in constant circles :) and she receives countless “She’s so cute!” “OMG look at that dog she’s adorable!” comments that I honestly lose count! Everyone thinks she’s a puppy and are always shocked when I tell them she’s a senior pup but then believe me when they notice her cute gummy smile. She may just be 6 lbs and considered a “senior” but she is ready and willing at all times to try and fight the 100 lb German Shepard (or any dog for that matter. Little dog syndrome is a real thing!) in our neighborhood lol we always get a good laugh out of her brave relentless spirit, feisty is an understatement!
When we aren’t going on walks and exploring the outdoors she is cuddling and resting in her bed or on the couch but will always pop up and come running when she hears food being made! She loves to be constantly petted and loved on, which is just fine with me since my obsession with loving on her is just as real. It’s safe to say Elle has me wrapped around her little paw :)
I could go on and on about Elle. I rescued her that Saturday in September but truly she has rescued me every day since. In a time in my life where every day felt like a big dark cloud was above me, Elle came and brought the sunshine back into my world and I’ll be forever grateful for her!
Thank you Muttville for giving Elle a second chance at life and bringing her into mine. She may be my first senior dog but she definitely won’t be my last!
Xo,
Michelle & Elle
