For more than 5 and a half years we’ve had nothing but love in our house because of Ginger. We brought her home from Muttville in Dec 2012 and she really made us a family. Despite her severe hip dysplasia, she gained muscle through physical therapy and got her health back, and she loved going for walks in our hilly neighborhood in SF!
Everyone loved Ginger, even friends who claimed they weren’t dog people. So besides sharing her with all our friends and family (she went everywhere with us!), she also became an Animal Assisted Therapy volunteer dog. She loved visiting patients and residents in senior homes and always brought a big smile to everyone’s face. With us, at home she was a cuddle bug and even in her last year with her loss of mobility, she was still goofy and loved to play.
