How much love and life can you pack in one year? Chris and Sashee gave Lutie all the love they had, and they share with us their story:
Despite the best efforts of us and Mission Pet Hospital, we unfortunately had to put Lutie to rest early December. The root cause was unclear in the end. She was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia in July and again in November. As things got worse in early December, the doctors felt based on the latest x-rays it was something more serious, possibly lung cancer.
Lutie was a wonderful addition to our lives the one year we had her, she made that short time filled with what seemed like years of warm memories. Her mind was willing to live further, even though her body was shutting down in the end.
Thanks to the Muttville organization for enabling us to have that awesome experience.
