Described as “teeny, weenie Dottie”, David and Deanna share how much they love their little Muttville gal:
Dottie has been nothing but a ray of sunshine in our lives. We hesitated at first to get a second dog since my husband and I work early and very long hours but we just knew that our long-hair Doxie Buster needed a companion. Dottie, even as an “old lady” has enlivened her brother Buster and us as well. She is a total snuggler and loves to bury deep in the covers to keep warm…or else she shivers!
Dottie has learned to love the beach. She destroys multiple squeaky toys a week. And her favorite hobby is burrowing deep in the covers. She loves sunspotting in the house during the day with Buster and loves the back garden even more when she can explore.
We are so fortunate to have rescued her from such a great organization as Muttville. The partnership they have with the SPCA is also amazing. Poor baby Dott had to have TWENTY-TWO! teeth pulled right after we took her home and the poor baby had to stay overnight twice at the vet hospital at the SPCA. We were your typical worried parents but couldn’t ask for a better experience and the care they provide for these older, and sadly abandoned, babies is just so heartwarming. We thank you for everything you do and I look forward to the day we can welcome home another Muttville pup into our home.
We remain eternally grateful for your efforts to save all of these deserving “mutts”.
Love (and wet kisses),
David, Deanna, Dottie and Buster
