Adopted during Muttville’s early years, Gidget – who was our 166th rescue – has been the light of her mom’s life. Last year, she added a second Muttville gal to the family, Evie. We’re overjoyed to share this wonderful success story:
Who would have ever thought that these two sweet girls would be in this picture together!! I adopted Gidget 6 years ago! She is deaf and blind, but does not let anything get in her way!! She is very independent and always lets me know what she needs! Last year when I lost my special Rozey girl at 16 years old, Gidget was sad! I know that she felt the loss of her “sister”! So, I adopted Evie! Health challenges have been hard for her, but we have overcome them all and she continues to thrive!! I am grateful to Muttville to have approved for me to adopt these two sweet girlie dogs!! I want to encourage others to look into giving a thought to giving a senior dog a chance to have a forever home!!! These two have given back to me 150%!!!
