Tiny Guy (aka Foxy)

Tiny Guy (aka Foxy)

We thank Susana and Don for sharing their story to celebrate the life of their sweet Muttville dog, Tiny Guy (formerly Foxy), who crossed the rainbow bridge on August 26th:

The day came and went when The Tiny Guy passed away. The evening of utter grief and the heavy sadness that followed are worth bearing because we had almost 1.5 years of extraordinary cuteness, fluffiness, and joy-inducing tail wags.

He came to us as a skinny, bad skin, mostly bald foster named Foxy but we called him The Tiny Guy. We will be forever grateful to Sherri for scooping him up and telling us, “here is your next foster.” They were filming a music dance video that day so he is there in the video. He became extremely ill in the next weeks. It became a hospice situation but he refused to die. He lived another almost one and a half years with more ups than downs. When he felt good, despite spinal disease, severe arthritis, etc., he enjoyed our family outings from the height of his stroller with occasional short walks. Every time he fell ill and pulled through, we vowed to spoil him and enjoy every moment with him more. We couldn’t get enough of him. We loved staring at him pose, walk, skip, and sleep. He entertained all with those looks, that wonky walk, and entitled demeanor.

Tiny Guy’s improving good looks were amazing! We pulled up to The W Hollywood in our normal car but as soon as the hotel staff saw The Tiny Guy, we got the celebrity treatment. Telephone cameras came at us from everywhere and his pictures must have flooded social media that week.

Another time, we were at Crissy Field where TV reporters happened to be that morning. He was on the news twice later that day!

Most endearingly, he was a friend to our ill and declining 18 year old cat. They slept closer and closer together the more ill Eddie became. Tiny Guy passed away shortly after his pal Eddie did but we want to believe they are together again.

Thank you Muttville!

Susana & Don
