Pliny is as playful as a puppy and just as cute to boot (don’t tell him he’s a senior!). This happy black and white gent has lots of bounce in his step and even more love in his heart. His favorite past time is meeting new doggo ‘furrends’ at the park! His tail wags at full blast as soon as he spots a potential playmate. If you’re looking for a weekend-in-the-park pal, Pliney is definitely you’re man. He’s not all action, though; Pliny is also an expert cuddler. What a guy!

HERE’S WHAT PLINEY’S FOSTER MOM HAS TO SAY!

Hands down, Pliney is the most ADORABLE pooch in the world! Everyone in the neighborhood melts when they see him out walking. He receives tons of compliments in his little red coat. He’s very friendly and tail wags with every dog he meets. Dog park neighbors are surprised that he’s been in foster for only a couple of days as he seems so comfortable and relaxed. I can’t get enough of his little footsteps, I want to make him his own a little ‘pitter patter’ soundtrack. Then there are the ears and his big “look at ME not the laptop” eyes.

Pliney has an excellent appetite and it’s very easy to give him his meds. He’s also the best dog ever when it comes to receiving his eye ointment. Almost like he knows it’s good for his eye and he’ll feel better. It’s no effort whatsoever, amazing!

This boy loves snuggling, nesting and car rides. He did great on a trip to the grocery store and enjoyed his ride on a blanket in a shopping cart.

Pliney has been a little sensitive when I’ve moved him to his own space away from me on the couch. He really wants to ‘velcro’ me so he lets me know he’d prefer NOT to have the extra few inches in between us, thank you very much. I’ve been successful with this ‘relocation’ by adding a Kong toy to distract him and I think he’ll be fine with a little patience and training with this issue. He really just wants to be as close as possible to his person!

We’re working on using pee pads and in the meantime, it’s been great to have the belly bands. He does signal when he needs to go out with a little paw on the arm, or suddenly getting restless.

When I’m working on my laptop, he melts me with his eyes, sometimes he’ll just throw himself down by my side and roll so I can give him a belly rub. He’s incredibly adorable and sweet!
