Oh, little queen of micro-chi-chi cuteness, does anyone love pets and cuddles more than you? Pixie Stix is so tiny, so calm, so gentle. Let her snuggle up in the palm of your hand and tell you her secrets, like how she used to sneak backstage at concerts with a fake press pass. Yes, it worked, because quiet confidence is more important than swagger. Remember that.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Pixie Stix is a timid tiny lady who loves to be swaddled in warm fluffy blankets. Fittingly, Pixie Stix’s favorite place is in a puppy sling where she can look out and sleep from a comfy height!
Pixie Stix also doesn’t like being cold! We try to take Pixie Stix out on walks when there is a lot of sun and it’s warm out. She tends to get nervous in enclosed spaces, like hallways but likes wide open and sunny spaces. Pixie Stix will totter around for a bit before calling it quits and wanting to return to her bed. Pixie Stix loves to sleep and has mostly slept through the night.
Pixie Stix will do her business outside. We are working on potty training on potty pads in the house to help ease Pixie Stix’s comfort during the winter months. It’s a work in progress.
Pixie is slowly starting to come out of her shell and showing her bright personality day by day. She doesn’t seem to be a velcro dog and is happy to be alone. She sleeps peacefully and hasn’t barked, growled, or begged once the entire time she has been in our care. I can take meetings and work without having to worry about her at all.
Pixie loves her food, but she doesn’t have a lot of teeth so her food needs to be soft and warm (just how she likes everything around her!). She will jump out of her bed to eat her breakfast and dinner without issue.
Her new family will need to be someone who has the patience to let this timid tiny lady blossom in her new home. If you have a warm, fluffy bed ready, this lady will charm you and bring you joy.
