Calm as a quiet forest and gentle as a slow rolling breeze, Lady Earth lives up to her name in every possible way. This sweet senior cocker spaniel moves through life with peaceful grace, her floppy ears bouncing softly as she goes. She is social with other dogs and brings a soothing presence wherever she settles. Lady Earth is ready for her retirement home, a place where she can rest, relax, and share her steady, comforting love. Her beauty is timeless, and her gentle spirit makes every space feel a little more serene. If you are searching for a companion who radiates calm, kindness, and quiet joy, Lady Earth is ready to root herself right into your heart.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Lady Earth’s first whole day with me was full of adventures, a lot of new spaces and places to explore. On the last of three longs walks (~5+ miles total), her gallop turned into a sprint of delight as she was recognizing the way back to this house with the comfy dog beds.
She’s incredibly soft to the touch and in her ways. She eats her food fairly fast and appreciates a little help wiping off the tips of her long ears which tend to sweep the bowl. Haven’t heard her make any vocalization, except for some very cute snoring a few times.
She’s a very active sniffer, more like a tracker. A few times on walks, she’s stopped when she noticed a dog at a distance, not very interested in meeting most dogs.
Picking her up in a loosely wrapped blanket keeps her big paws from flailing into pockets and faces. She doesn’t seem too comfy on my lap and isn’t one to leap into a chair, but loves her dog beds.
Her one car ride with me so far seemed familiar to her. She settled quickly into lying with impressive stability on a blanket in the backseat.
