EZ Rock is a distinguished gentleman with a Jack Russell engine and plenty of miles left on the odometer! This handsome mix has the classic JRT combination of curiosity, confidence, and a zest for life, wrapped up in one very charming package. He’s friendly with people and other dogs, and he’s always ready to get moving, whether that means a good walk, a new adventure, or simply seeing what’s happening around town. With EZ Rock around, the beat is always “All Through the Night”—and this gentleman is ready to keep the good times rolling!

Appropriately named EZ Rock is an ezgoing gentleman ready to settle into his forever home. While estimated as a super senior, EZ’s puppy face and inquisitive demeanor will have you second guessing just how old he actually is.
EZ may have been found as a stray, but we’ve noticed a number of things that suggest he’s used to the comforts of a home: he’s housetrained and patiently waits to do his business outside a few times a day and can hold it overnight, we’ve fed him his meals in a cozy crate and he sleeps soundly in it overnight without issue, he’s quiet as a mouse, showing no real reactions to the bustling sounds of our busy city street, and he’s comfortable strutting his stuff on a leash without showing reactivity with other humans or mutts.
EZ is very food motivated, which has been helpful for training and getting him used to his new surroundings. Though, EZ does have a few extra pounds for his small frame and would benefit from a home that can commit to providing him with steady food boundaries, despite his yearning puppy eyes. Right now he’s comfortable with a leisurely stroll for a block or two, but in his short time with us we’ve noticed his desire to slowly increase his number of steps and explore. In the meantime, pairing a short walk with a long park sniffari is his idea of a rockin’ good time. After dropping a few lbs, we’re sure he’ll be a more comfortable dude ready to walk a bit further and live a bit longer in his twilight years with his forever family.
EZ is a snuggle monster, lovingly burrowing into you while you lounge on the couch or snoozing next to your desk as you work from home. EZ shows some signs of separation distress, but we’ve been working on his alone time. Watching him from a camera, we notice that once you’re gone, he can last a few hours passing the time catching zzz’s or patiently waiting by the door. We believe he’ll do best in a home that can slowly ease him into increased alone time comfortably.
EZ has been a real treat in the short time he’s spent with us. He acts as a little shadow, tippy tapping his way along with our daily routines, and is never one to shy away from showing you affection. He’s sure to warm the hearts of his next family, just as he’s warmed ours.
