Meet California Love, the pug with the cutest snaggle tooth that could melt hearts! She’s got a squishy face, a sunny spirit, and a talent for making friends wherever she goes. California Love gets along wonderfully with other dogs and greets every human like they’re already her bestie. Once left behind in a crate, she’s now rewriting her story at Muttville, one cuddle at a time. Full of personality and affection, this little lovebug is ready to be the happiest chapter in someone’s life.

Here’s some notes from her foster:

California Love is an incredibly snuggly and cuddly gal! She loves sitting in laps and soaking up attention and pets from humans of all ages and sizes. She was a star of a 3rd grade field trip and is a “Cuddle Club” alum. (where seniors who can’t have their own dogs come to Muttville and snuggle with senior doggies).

California Love is a good water drinker, has a great appetite, and is extremely food and treat motivated. She gobbles up her fresh food, struts around to check the house is in order, and then settles down for a snooze. She is a dedicated napper and also sleeps through the night with a very sweet and quiet little snore. Other than the faint snore, she sure is quiet and has not barked at all since being with us. She has been completely indifferent to our three cats, and is mostly indifferent meeting new dogs, although she has shown a bit of interest (sometimes one polite sniff) when meeting much larger dogs. I think she will do great in a forever home with or without other furry friends.

California Love enjoys short to medium length walks with plenty of time to sniff the flowers, and we are working on stairs. She seems to be physically capable of stairs, and can go up and down when guided on leash, but has not attempted a long flight herself. Fortunately, she loves to be picked up and is super eary to carry! California Love presents as being in overall good health and is not on any medications at this time. She had a few indoor potty accidents after arriving at our house, but has not had any in a few days, and is now presenting as housebroken. She may just need a bit of an adjustment period in her forever home.

California Love has been 100% adorable and an absolute pleasure to host!
