Washington

Hello Muttville family!

Hope everyone’s summer is going well! It’s been a while since I sent an update on how Washington is doing so here’s a synopsis of our past two months together and photos of the adventures of W!

Washington

We went up to Vancouver and Victoria last month to meet my family and friends – Washington did great in Lincoln’s travel crate and on the plane. Here’s a photo of Washington at the Costco in Victoria BC!

As it turns out, Washington is extremely athletic and we go on daily runs along Stevens Creek trail. I’ve registered him as a canine participant for the American Brain Tumor Association 5K Walk next weekend! I doubt I’ll last the full 5K but it all about getting into the spirit to support brain tumor patients! Here’s us going over the Stevens Creek trail overpass.

Washington had his first grooming by yours truly today and he just stood there and let me shave him and then got a nice emollient puppy bubble bath and lots of treats. Thanks Muttville for the grooming kit swag!

He’s doing really well with being home alone in the double open enclosure since I’ve gone back to work and he’s able to eat and drink from the timed food bowls that I bought for Lincoln. My work days are much more reasonable this month and it looks like I’ll have control of my work schedule come Sept/ Oct with more time at home and closer proximity to the hospital, which means more cuddle time with W! He’s a total cuddle bug.

Washington misses all of you and sends his love!
