Hello Muttville team,
I am writing to let you know that our darling grandpaw Stu (fka Tom Ford) has passed the rainbow bridge. He was a true joy in my life and I can’t thank you enough for entrusting my family and me with his care. He was a special little guy and we all loved him dearly, including his dog brother.
He may have been a stumbly and kinda grumbly guy, but all he ever really needed to be content was to lay in front of the open screen door in the sun and listen to the sounds of the birds chirping; at night he slept peacefully with his sound machine playing gentle lullabies. (He did NOT like rain sounds!) He didn’t much care for toys, but he liked to have his favorite stuffed goose in bed with him.
I want you to know that he found true love, comfort, compassion and understanding in his time with us and I will always treasure the time I had as his hospice caretaker.
I’ve added some of my favorite photos of our time together, the photo with his tongue out is our first photo together on our car ride home. :)
Thank you for everything you do for these mutts, and everything you did for Stu. Muttville is the best place on earth.
