Hello Muttville Team,
I wanted to give you an update on May (fka Joan Jett) after her first week in her new home.
To begin with, she is an absolute doll, and we are completely in love with her already. Our resident cats and dog have welcomed her so kindly, and she has fit into our family so naturally that it feels like she has always lived here. She has quickly picked up our daily routines, our outings, and all the little rhythms of the house.
Around the house she follows us everywhere like a little duckling — it is incredibly sweet. She has a great appetite and is already learning not to beg while we are eating. She is impressively smart and such a quick learner, especially considering her age.
We truly love her already and want nothing more than for her to feel safe, comfortable, and cherished for the rest of her life.
Thank you again for everything you do for these incredible animals. They are little angels, and I truly wish more people understood the beauty of loving a pet through the very end of their journey. Senior dogs are deeply special — funny, wise, soulful companions. They carry a lifetime of love and wisdom with them, and it is such an honor to care for them.
