Nine months ago we adopted Earl. He fit into our family so perfectly that one month later when I spotted these two underweight sweet little babies Cheeck (fka Atlas) and Chong (fka Chevy) on the Muttville Instagram I inquired right away!
They had not even been put on the site or had their dental but I knew I had to meet them. The day after their procedure I made another trip down to my new fave place. These two were not marked as bonded but came from the same shelter. It was clear to me how attached they were and I was instantly in love with them both!
Chong was severely underweight. So our journey began by putting some weight back on him and his transformation is my absolute favorite! Both pups were estimated at 14 years old before they came to Muttville.
Once they had all the love and a full belly day and night, these two completely changed, especially Chong! A completely different pup but in all the best ways.
These two are the sweetest boys ever, and also the most loyal. Neither of them can go to bed until I get into bed. If I’ve tucked them in and gone off to do something, I shortly hear their little feet trotting down the hallway to come find me.
I can’t imagine these two being separated with how much they love each other. Adopting pups that have a buddy they love is so important. Their transition into our home with our other two toothless chihuahuas was flawless-like they had always been with us. Something about Muttville seniors pups.. they are EXTRA-special!
Cheech and Chong are the cutest duo and we love them so much!
