Preston is Arturo now (“Artie,” for short), and he’s a lovely little nugget. I’m so happy I adopted him! He has settled in nicely with the cat. They’d rather not cuddle, but I’m convinced they’re friends in every other way. We hang out at Lake Merritt a lot since we live nearby, and there’s nothing Artie loves more than chilling on a picnic blanket with the wind in his ears by the lake. He also loves his daily walk at sunset, and has such a funny disposition when we’re out there. This is his neighborhood, and he won’t let a little arthritis stop him! We’ve been camping together, to the beach, and to the grocery store a few times, too! Such adventure!
