I have Sid (aka Cupid) for a whole year now. I found his name was Sid from his surrender paperwork to Vacaville Pound.
Poor guy, he was so depressed and skinny when he came home to me from Muttville, but he just melted into me and we connected right away. Over the next few months, Sid came out of his shell. He has a buddy, Jerry from Muttville that we visit often and they get along great, but no other dog can come near me or he barks madly at them and runs at them – hysterical, seeing as he is so placid all other times.
He loves his Condo. I used to take him to work with me, but he hates the crate and barked all the way. He was just being stressed out and so I began leaving him for short times to go to work, I am self employed so had that luxury! He just sleeps when I am away and awakens upon my arrival home. He loves his little walks and sniffs everyone that passes by. He has the cutest curiosity about him. He will stand in front of an open door and just peer inside!! He wants to know everyone’s business. He goes right up to all my neighbours, and stares at them until they pet him. So cute.
I tell people I fell in love on line. True. I took one look at that face and my heart melted. He has become a little incontinent and it can be challenging, but I just pick him up, wash him off and I love him even more today than I did a year ago. I thank Muttville every day for my little lovey-dovey.
