A sweet note from Noodle’s mom:
“It is with great regret that I must tell you that our sweet little Noodles (formerly known as Dolma) has crossed over the rainbow bridge. I can’t tell you the absolute joy she brought to our life during the brief six months that she was a part of our family. She learned what it really meant to have unconditional love in her life. She showed us that she felt safe and secure and that makes my heart so happy. Considering we took her as a Hospice dog, again I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that we had her for the long six months that we did. I would like to say thank you to your organization for bringing such a beautiful little creature into my life. My heart hurts deeply right now As I feel the absence of her sweet demeanor in our house but I know that she is in a better place where her eyes work, her ears work, and her back doesn’t feel so much pain. She passed quietly and contently in my arms this morning. I am confident that I would like to take on another hospice dog or in the least, the one dog that you have that is the most broken and least likely to be adopted. I’m not entirely sure when my heart will be ready to open up again, but if the right dog comes along or you have someone now in dire need, please don’t hesitate to contact me and we can talk about it. I hope the two of you and the rest of your amazing staff and volunteers are doing well. And of course I’m sending many prayers and puppy dog hugs to all of the dogs in your care.”
Original profile
Meet sweet Dolma! This polite pup is looking for a forever home to rest her old bones.
Dolma comes to us from Rancho Cucamonga where she was found as a stray. This endearing little lady can’t see very well, but that doesn’t stop her from finding the softest bed in the place. She is a low-key senior pup who loves head scratches, and just wants a warm lap to cuddle up on. She is looking for a calm environment and a loving friend to spend her retirement years with, could that be you?
Due to her advanced age and arthritis, Dolma is available for adoption through Muttville’s hospice care program.
We think Dolma is around 14 years old and weighs around 17 pounds.
