Hi Muttville!
My name is Carla and I write to you because my partner, Matt and I, adopted Alfie (#5732) back in February at an adoptathon weekend. Upon welcoming Alfie into our lives, we noticed that he didn’t respond to that name. After trying out a few new names, we realized that he responded to the name Bear. Words can’t express how much joy Bear has brought into our lives.
Although small, Bear has such a big personality! His energy and sweetness has been such a wonderful addition to our lives. He loves searching for treats, meeting new people and snuggling but most of all he enjoys going on his daily walks where he gets tons of attention. When we have time to visit the dog park he seems to forget what size he is and enjoys playing with the bigger dogs instead of the smaller ones. He had such a fun time exploring his new home in the Presidio, going on short hikes, and chasing birds around. Bear now lives in North Oakland and is easily adapting to life in the East Bay. He’s easily become popular in the neighborhood!
