I wanted to share a few recent photos of Otis (#4394) and tell you how much I have been enjoying my new friend. He is much more of an athlete than we imagined. No signs of arthritis as we originally thought. This pup hikes 6 miles up in the mountains with me and still wants to chase balls when we get home. He wags his tail at every human we meet and hogs the bed at night. He loves to catch balls in the backyard and is quite the athlete in leaping into the air or diving after them, or when hiking, into creeks. He likes water so much we may try some paddle boarding (I bought him a doggie life jacket!) He’s went camping this summer and charms his way into the sleeping bag. He has been a delight and I’m so glad he came to live with me.
Thank you for helping older dogs. You do good work and I am happy to be a part of it!
