Dear Muttville,
Here is our success story for our sweet girl Ellie (formerly known as Beauty):
My husband and I went to Muttville “just to look” and found ourselves in love with a sweet, obese Chihuahua named Beauty. Although she was indeed a beauty, we changed her name to Ellie after bringing her home. Ellie bonded with us almost immediately and has become an essential part of our family. Over the past few months, through healthy lifestyle changes, Ellie has gotten down to her ideal weight—nearly half what she weighed when she was first surrendered! She no longer needs pain medications for joint pain and, in fact, she has pep to her step and loves to sprint up and down the hallway in our apartment when she gets excited.
She loves to cuddle, hike, cuddle, bathe in the sun, cuddle, eat, and cuddle. She greets us with kisses every time we come home, and she is showered with love pretty much all the time. Our friends and family cannot believe her transformation and svelte new figure! Thank you, Muttville, for bringing this darling girl into our lives.
