Sweet is this senior girl, and so is her story. Thanks to mom Aubrey for sharing!
It was love at first sight, when I discovered Sweet Potato (aka Sweet Pea) on Muttville’s website, and that love was only confirmed when I brought her home.
She might be 11 years old, but she has energy and attitude to spare. Even in her first days she was undaunted by my rather jealous Corgi-mix, Foxy, my two kids (7 and 3), and the two cats. In fact, her very favorite thing to do was chase the cats at top speed. The only time she barked was when she was chasing the kitties.
She settled in quickly and is a wonderful part of the family. She loves to eat, bask in the sun on our back deck, and chase the cats. At night she curls up by my feet on the bed. She is truly sweet.
Thank you, Muttville, for doing the work you do. Senior dogs have so much love to give, and I am grateful to have Sweet Potato in my family.
