For those who remember Gatsby 2700, here he is now! New name Higgins, he is loving life with new mom Tracy:
Higgins is thriving. He was accepted immediately by my two old girl dogs because they think he is just “Sammy,” my former beagle who crossed over the Bridge 3/1/13, back from the dead.
Every week he becomes more and more settled into our routines. He does have to go on a diet since he has gained 3 pounds in the last 6 months. (His mother is an indulgent and benevolent dictator.) He is also becoming more and more of a snuggly lap beagle, which is what I missed most. He’s a keeper!!
