In her own words (with a little help from mom Christine!)
My name’s Perla & I’m 13 years old. I lived in the same home since I was a puppy. I found myself at SF ACC before Christmas & I was terrified. I sat in the back of my cage, shivering. A nice lady named Sherri from Muttville saved me! I spent a few weeks with other senior dogs there but really wanted a home if my own. Along came my new mommy, Christine, who’s been volunteering at Muttville for a year and half. She convinced my new daddy, Dominic, to start fostering. After just 3 days she knew she couldn’t give me up!!! I’m now a very happy, playful girl. My mommy says I’m great on leash, calm on car rides, I sleep through the night & that I’m amazing & hilarious. I agree! Thank you to Sherri & Muttville for giving this old gal a new leash on life!!!
