What a great way to reflect on the wonderful success stories of 2011 with the beautiful tale of Cow Belle, as told by her loving parents.
“Looking back at 2011, one of the most wondrous gifts that came to my life is undoubtedly Cow Belle.
Cow Belle is an exemplary Muttville alumna – super mellow, well-behaved, full of love and life. She has been not without hardship (being stray and rescued on the day listed for euthanasia, with severe allergies, eye/ear infections and mammary tumors) but accepted all with grace and continues to trust, sharing her unshakable peace with us and younger sister Katy in her unique way.
Cow Belle’s foster mom, Stephanie, and Sherri have been with this newbie mom through my panicky start and on. When Cow Belle was going through the tumor surgery, Sherri wrote in her email “we stand by our dogs,” and that is exactly what Muttville has done.
Thank you all for uncovering the beauty of senior dogs and standing by them!
