Meet Zephyr, the gentle breeze of love you’ve been waiting for! This sweet, mellow boy is as calm as a sunny afternoon nap. He loves to lounge around, soak up the good vibes, and be your quiet little shadow.
Zephyr gets along with everyone—dogs, humans, probably even imaginary friends! He’s the kind of pup who doesn’t ask for much, just a cozy spot to rest and a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a peaceful companion who will always be by your side, Zephyr is your guy!

Zephyr, aka Mr. Z, is a sweet doddering old man with iffy eyesight – especially at night. He is rather annoyed that his driver’s license was taken away but when you see him crashed headfirst into his dog bed you will understand why. Additionally, his hind legs are a bit weak, and he is a bit wobbly so, the edge of a rug, or even a slight hill in the yard, can cause him to tip over. He may need help getting up, but he will try to insist he does not.
Given all the recent changes to his life he is a nervous yet proud man, looking for an assisted living environment that still allows him some independence. He would also do well in a home where his spaces can be somewhat limited and there are no stairs. He can get lost in another room, which understandably stresses him out. Also, easy access to a fenced in backyard area would work best for his potty need.
He does like to be with his people and will bark when I leave initially and then calm down. He’s not food motivated. Absolutely loves Turkey Bacon and fancy cheese!
He’s such a sweet boy, and he loves the pouch carrier- he came to the mall with me and slept in his pouch most of the time, or looked around calmly when he woke up.
