Meet Yoyo, this lively senior pup proves what goes up must come down… straight into your heart! Bursting with curiosity and energy, he loves to explore, sniff out new adventures, and bounce happily through life. Yoyo adores attention and will always come back for more pets, cuddles, and smiles, just like his name suggests. With his playful spirit and sweet nature, this boy brings joy on repeat and is ready to keep your days full of love and laughter!

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Yo-yo is a super sweetie. Lots of energy for a ten year old doggie, and very loving. Yoyo loves to be near his people and will follow me from room to room during the day. If I happen to sit for awhile, he’d prefer to snuggle on my lap or next to me on the couch but is also satisfied with being curled up in a cozy dog bed next to me while I’m working at the computer. Yoyo sleeps in bed next to my head every night and sleeps through the night without making much of a peep or disturbing my sleep.

He eats well, is very treat motivated and generally a very easy dog. He can jump up on the bed no problem, as well as use stairs etc. He started out a bit nervous around my cats, but that has since turned into being very comfortable. He is VERY interested in them and I think would love to cuddle or play with them if they were willing participants! I will say he goes up and sniffs their noses very gently now and is a perfect gentlemen.

He doesn’t love car rides but he’s getting much better with them. His first ride home with me he was absolutely terrified and was shaking- but I’ve been taking him everywhere with me and slowly but surely he’s getting used to the car.

I have not heard him bark ever. If there are more than one of us in the house, he is more likely to feel comfortable to sort of trot around and he’ll make himself comfortable in another room or switch allegiances depending on who seems most likely to give cuddles or will give him people food (obviously we give NO people food- but that doesn’t stop him trying!). He will growl if only I’m home and he hears someone enter the house- but obviously takes my lead and stops if I tell him everything is good.

All in all a lovely, energetic, happy and cuddly little canine! I think he would good in a house with cats, dogs or kids of all ages.
